If the husk isn't mature, I would suggest the pollen has not formed. You could try hand pollinating, but it may not work. At the end of the husk (the corn end) isn't fully working its way into the corn it isn't going to pollinate. JMO. Shelly

Is this a fungus spray or a pest spray? I ask because I've seen garlic used to kill bad insects but not usually for fungus. If this works, I will be tickled pink.
It depends on if it decomposed or not. I say it should be worked back in, but if the grass grew at all in it, I say wait. The best thing I've found to do is cook it with plastic. I've had many mystery weeds pop up after composting even. Shelly
